How does the design process work, and how long does it take?
When ordering cards, announcements, and products requiring a design proof, you will choose a design, then your design and photographic options. Send us your photographs, and any other ideas you may have, and we will design an original proof for you. Proofs take up to 2 business days from placement of order. The proof gives you an opportunity to check for any mistakes or marks. We do not print your order until you are completely satisfied. Once you approve your proof, turnaround time (time to shipment) is up to 5 business days for photo print cards and up to 7 - 10 days for card stock cards.

What is your turnaround time?
For cards, announcements, and products requiring a design proof, turnaround time (time to shipment) is up to 5 business days for photo print cards and up to 7 - 10 days for card stock cards. Proofs take up to 2 business days from placement of order. For jewelry and embroidered products, turnaround time is up to 5 business days.

How do you ship, what is the cost, and how long does it take?
We use USPS Domestic/Global Priority Mail service and UPS. Domestic US normal delivery is $9, and the time frame is 2-4 days. Express delivery is $24, and is 1-2 days depending on your location. For international orders, shipping is $20, and delivery is 5-14 days depending on your country.

For announcements and cards, how do I send photographs?
E-mail digital photographs to design@vanillaprintdesign.com. Please include your name and order number. You can also mail us your photographs. Our address is available on our contact us page. Although we will take all possible care of original photographs, we are not be responsible for any damages to any original printed photograph which may occur during transit.

How many photographs should I send?
Send us 1-8 photographs. Indicate which photographs you like best, and which one you would like to use for your main photo. We encourage sending digital photographs as high resolution (minimum 300 dpi) jpgs, gifs or bmps.

Can I send professional photographs?
Yes, if you own the rights. By sending your photographs, you acknowledge that you own the rights to the photographs and give Vanilla Print permission to reproduce the images.

Are envelopes included with my print order?
Yes. We offer 70lb. White Wove square flap envelope, which is one grade heavier than standard envelope paper. These envelopes have a more substantial feel than a 24lb. envelope. They have a nice square flap that are for cards, invitations & announements, and brochures. We send a few additional envelopes with each order.

Are the jewelry and gifts sterling silver?
All of our silver jewelry and gifts are genuine .925 sterling silver unless otherwise marked.

What about privacy and security?
We take privacy and security very seriously. We will not share, rent, or sell your personal information. For your security, we use 128bit SSL encryption for all transactions. For more information, see our privacy & security page.

What is your product warranty?
We are very proud of our products and we do our utmost to assure your satisfaction. Should any product arrive for which you are not entirely happy, please immediately contact us and we will work with you to resolve any problems.

What is your policy on returns and cancellations?
The amount of work which is performed on any given order varies depending on the content of the order and the date which the order was received. Designed items include invested design effort as well as the printing time and costs. Personalized items, once in-process, are non-refundable. As such, once an order is placed, there can be no cancellations. For returns, see "What is your product warranty?" above.
